The greatest victories are often those we win over self.
Robert Taft was an Ohio Senator from 1939 to 1953. Once, while delivering a speech in hostile territory, a heckler heaved a tomato hitting the senator on the chest. The tomato exploded, sending pieces of red shrapnel over Taft’s face, glasses, and hair.
Today, I am at the World Leaders Conference. I am reposting this blog with prayers that God uses it to remind you just how amazing He is.

There was a foreman who was a hardworking, conscientious man, but he had not received a promotion in ten years. “Why haven’t you been promoted?” his friend inquired. The foreman replied, "Many years ago I had an argument with my boss—and I won!"
