Rodeo Cowboy I am not! Wednesday night I stopped by our Student Ministries Block Party. It was an indoor extravaganza. Over 240 students descended on SRC for friends, food, and more fun than is humanly possible in two hours. It was a fantastic way to kick off the new school year.
You can hang a price tag on just about anything: a Lexus, a house, a set of braces, a computer, a book, dinner out, a pool in the back yard, a Picasso in the parlor, a night at the movies, a London vacation, a new roof, shoes, even a Major League ball park. But there is one thing for which there is no price tag—a hug.
Between the promise and the performance is a parenthesis! I was listening to the radio a couple weeks back when I heard that line. I'm still turning it over in my mind. Talk about truth succinctly stated!
