Don't Eat This Bacon ... Just Chew On It!

Read, not to contradict or confute, nor to believe and take for granted, nor to find talk and discourse, but to weigh and consider.

Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested.

Francis Bacon

The Bible is a book to be "chewed and digested."  Read the words of Jesus below--please read them slowly:

But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."  Matthew 22:34-37 ESV

Now chew on this: What does it mean for you to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind? How can you do that today?
