Leap Over A Wall

For by you I can run against a troop,
and by my God I can leap over a wall.
— Psalm 18:29

If your TO DO list is growing and your time is shrinking and you don't see how you are going get it all done; you need to hear David sing his song again, the one about God's amazing power:

You save the humble
    but bring low those whose eyes are haughty.

You, Lord, keep my lamp burning;
    my God turns my darkness into light.
With your help I can advance against a troop;
    and by my God I can leap over a wall.

As for God, his way is perfect:
    The Lord’s word is flawless;
    he shields all who take refuge in him.

Psalm 18:27-30

And then soak up Tozer's words again, the ones about impossibilities and prayer:

God is looking for people through whom he can do the impossible – what a pity that we plan only the things that we can do by ourselves.

You may feel hemmed in by that tall wall of responsibilites surrounding you, but your wall is no match for God and prayer.
